The first objective of this paper is to analyze and identify quantitatively the effects of fertilizer subsidies on the diet quality of Malian farms in rural areas. We used survey data collected between March and May 2023. The study sample included 45 farms whose plot managers were interviewed about their fertilizer use and management methods. Within these households, they were interviewed about their food consumption in the 24 hours preceding the interview. Finally, the second objective of this paper is to quantitatively highlight the determinants of economic growth in Mali. We have successively examined the model, the variables selected, the econometric method and the main results. The data included Mali's real GDP growth rate, food availability and agricultural value added, and we limited ourselves to the period 2000-2020 for reasons of data availability. Econometric modelling was used to study the triptych of economic growth-food security-agricultural productivity.
